Questions re: SKU mix-up

Hi all! We got a handful of messages today about shipping notifications that listed the wrong SKU. In these cases the navy and grey bags were mixed up at the fulfillment center that handles US and Canada fulfillment.

Fortunately the error was caught quickly enough and 209 bags destined for the US are being repackaged today. 

There were, however, 64 units that went out to Canadian backers last Friday, some of which contain the wrong colored bag. Don't worry! We'll get it sorted out quickly. Stay tuned for another update tomorrow.

Fulfillment is Underway!

Fulfillment 

The holiday backlog was substantial, but shipping has begun. We don't anticipate any issues, but if something is wrong with your order, please reach out as soon as possible to [email protected]. Orders will be fulfilled in the coming weeks. Please don't worry if you haven't received a tracking number yet; you will soon. 

Caring for Your Board Game Garage

The bags have been folded to fit within the smallest possible box (otherwise shipping would have been prohibitively expensive). Because of this, they are going to be wrinkled! Don't panic. Many of the wrinkles will fall out over time as you use the bag, but you can iron it to speed up the process. Use a low setting intended for polyester fabrics. A little steam is okay. Do not apply excessive heat! The fabric is backed with a waterproofing polyurethane coating, which is has a rubbery feel. If you iron on too high a setting, you will ruin the fabric.

Shipping Update

Shipping Update   

Hello everyone! As many of you have noticed, all three ships have arrived at their destination ports. Even better, the bags have cleared customs and been delivered to all three fulfillment centers. 

Bags bound for the US and Canada will be shipped by our main partner, ShipNaked. Bags for our European / rest of world customers will be sent by Happyshops. Finally, bags for the Australia / New Zealand region will be handled by Unicorn Games. 

Tracking Information

Once your bag ships, you will receive two (2) separate notices with the tracking number. 

Timing

All bags are in the queue at their respective fulfillment centers. We hope they start to go out soon, but as expected, there is a significant holiday backlog. Based on what we were told this morning about the severity of the backlogs, we would recommend planning on an early January delivery. We've done all we can do, so now we wait and hope for the best. 

We will send another update when delivery begins.

Address Lockdown on Wednesday

Hello! In order to keep fulfillment moving along quickly, we will lock down addresses in Backerkit Wednesday night. Please login and make corrections if necessary. 

Bags have arrived at Unicorn Games for fulfillment to backers in the Australia / New Zealand region. It will probably be at least a week before they are mailed to you. 

The shipments headed to the US and Europe are on still track, enjoying their leisurely ocean journey. Both will likely arrive at port in the next two weeks.

We're so excited to be getting closer and closer to our goal. We'll stay in touch over the next few weeks as bags start to go out. If you have questions or need anything at all during the remainder of the project, please do not hesitate to message us on Kickstarter or via email at [email protected].

Answering some questions

Hi all! A quick update to answer a few questions. 

The Australia shipment is arriving in port today, Nov. 7th. Sorry I wasn't able to get a tracking link out to you before it arrived. 

The shipment bound for Germany (on the "YM WIND") can be tracked here as it heads through Rotterdam:

The US shipment is on its way to the Panama Canal in the "XIN FEI ZHOU" before it arrives in Boston. Track it here:

As to the order of fulfillment, I have instructed our partners to begin fulfillment as soon as they are able. In other words, backers in Australia / New Zealand will likely get their bags before the other ships even arrive at their respective ports. 

Again, I want to emphasize that nothing is guaranteed right now. Please allow for the unexpected as we try to get the bags off the boats and through customs as quickly as possible. We'll keep you posted.
